Updates!!!

Alright, well we all know that I'm not big into scrapbooking and putting a lot of things on with my pics, but here's a whole bunch of pics from like the last 2 months (sorry I'm so bad at updating) of all the things we've been doing to have fun!

AUGUST

Ashlyn had a lot of fun playing with cousin Mad Max, Princess Josie, and Gunnar Kanute at Andrew and Jordan Lydia's wedding. Ashlyn's face pretty much sum's up how much fun it was:) haha, it actually was a lot of fun to be with all the family, plus, Ashlyn and Gunnar got to take a bath together!

While we were in Washington for Andrew and Jordan Lydia's reception, me and Jared and Ashlyn decided to go to Seattle and see the Aquarium! If you haven't been here already, you should definitely go, it's totally worth it, as you can see, Jared and Ashlyn got to ride a real shark!

SEPTEMBER 

These are our friends Amy and Ron, Amy really loves Ashlyn, she helps me babysit her on Mondays:)

Jared's beard after not shaving for 3 weeks! He kind of became a mountain man when he went to Alaska with my dad and his. They also got to see a bear and whales!

Ashlyn's goal for the Trimmer Grimmer program is to get a double chin by Christmas, and convince mommy that it's time to get pants that fit;)

OCTOBER

As you can see from these pictures I'm not very good with using technology, hence the reason they are all on separate lines. But in the top one, Ashlyn just got done eating sweet carrots baby food, haha, she was a little out of it and had it all up her nose! Also, Jared decided that he wanted to use Ashlyn's costume for Halloween......he was jealous:) 

Our friend Katrina Blevins is having her baby in a couple weeks so we had all of our friends over this last Sunday for dinner which was a lot of fun! Me, Corrine Hayashi, and Rachel Ashmore are all touching her belly, oh the joys of being prego:)

WIPE OUT!!!

I know this happened like a month and a half ago but it's still pretty hilarious:). While we were up in Washington, Jared attempted bare foot skiing because the water was like glass, it was perfect! Chris, being the wonderful teacher, got him up for about 10 feet and then, well, you can see for yourself......

Rolling Over!

Ashlyn's first time rolling over! We went up to Washington to see Jared's family and while we were there Jared went to Alaska and missed her first time rolling over so we caught it on camera and are putting it on our blog so that everyone can see how big she is getting!

First Picnic!!!

Alright, we know that it's been quite awhile since we last updated so we decided to get ya'll caught up on the exciting life of Ashlyn. Ashlyn's been up to a lot of new things lately and she's growing up so fast! This is her first picnic that she's been on and we went up to Island Park with Grandma and Grandpa Brian and Aunt Sammy, Uncle Wyatt, and Uncle Cody. Jared wasn't able to make it(he had to do homework:( ). But we had lots of fun, we managed to not drop her in the river and not get sunburned or bit by mosquitoes so it was a successful day!!!

First Day at Church!

This was Ashlyn's first day at church! Mommy dressed her up really cute and put a bow on her head so that everyone would know she's a girl;) As you can tell, we spent most of our time getting her ready so Mom and Dad are lacking...haha. Our little Sunbeams loved her too. They we so cute and all wanted to try to touch her so Mom pulled out her handy-dandy hand sanitizer and her nerves we calmed:) All of the boys have a crush on her, they said, "Oh she's so pretty!" We already have to fight to keep the boys off of her!

First Zoo Trip!!!

Between trying to not let all of the animals eat Ashlyn and keeping her fed, it was quite an eventful day! It was pretty danged hot too, probably 95* and she was really good(for the time that she wasn't hungry). That was the biggest turtle that she has seen yet and I think it's mine too! Mom, Aunty Sammy and Grandma Karen all got to go down and have lots of fun with her. As you can tell, she was ecstatic about getting her diaper changed when the time came. Jared always calls Ashlyn his little monkey so naturally, we had to get a picture and she even got a monkey stuffed animal. We even had to keep the HUGE lion drinking fountain from eating her!

Not A First...

This is definately NOT the first time that Daddy, Mommy, and Ashlyn have been tired! This actually is us everyday:) But we're getting used to it! Last night she didn't go to bed till 2 o'clock cuz she had a belly ache so Mommy got to stay up taking care of her while Daddy finished his homework. Wow, we can't wait for Jared's school to be out...

This is what Ashlyn looks like at 3 in the morning when she hasn't eaten, actually, at any time of the day when she hasn't eaten:)...and when she needs changed...and when she wants attention...and when the temperature ain't just right and...........

This statement is oh-so-true, for both Grandma's...

Daddy's already trying to show her what to do to Mommy if she doesn't want to do something...

This is the face that I get that says, "Mommy I'm starving, I haven't eaten for like half an hour,

don't you love me anymore?"

Ashlyn's adorable little feet, Corrine and I painted the bottom of her feet to get imprints of them on paper, that was interesting. We decided to save the hands for when she's sleeping and can't fight back:)
