Alright, I know that it's been awhile, but all those with 2 kids understand. All those with 1 kid probably understand also:).
So life has been really, really, REALLY busy in our Grimmer home. Marley was born, then it was my birthday, then it was our 3 year Anniversary, then it was Marley's baby blessing, then it was Jared's Birthday. Haha, I know, I've missed a lot of updating, but talking to one of my friends (Haley Hargrave) gave me new incentive to blog. I don't write in my journal anymore cuz I don't have time so I'm going to treat my blog like my journal (well hopefully a little bit better because I have wrote in my journal for like a year:)) and hopefully update every Sunday, or at least once a week. We'll see how it goes.
So things have been going really well, Marley is adjusting to being in our home and Ashlyn's screaming:) She does have colic though, which is challenging at some times, but mostly just sad. I feel so bad for her little belly and acid reflex. She's healthy though and for the most part very happy. She hates the weather just as much as Ashlyn and me. Actually, I don't think that anyone could hate the weather as much as me, I hate the snow. And wind. And cold. Haha, but I'm trying to stay optimistic:) We're getting excited for Jared to get out of school because first of all, it will be warm. Second of all, we can all be together! Summer is my favorite time of year! I love it! Well here are some pictures from recently, Marley's already getting so big and Ashlyn is the best big sister ever. I love these girls:)Jared's mom (Mimi) came to stay with us a couple days after we had Marley. My mom had to leave to go to Washington with my dad so it was nice to have Laura here to help acclimate to being a mommy of two. Ashlyn loved having her here too.
Just a really cute picture of Marley:)
Just a really cute picture of Marley:)
Ashlyn absolutely ADORES Marley, it is soooo cute!

When we dropped Mimi off at the airport in Idaho Falls, we decided to take a trip to the museum. They had a wolf and dog display that was pretty neat but Ashlyn just really wanted to play in the kids discovery room that they had. It was really cute to watch her play, especially when a little girl started playing house with her. She even got to dress up like Daniel Boone.
Aunt Jordan and Uncle Andrew came down to see Ashlyn and Marley while they were on a trip to Utah to see Jordan's family. It was really fun to have them come and stay with us! Ashlyn really took a liking to Aunty Jordan's shoes:) We went and fed the ducks, which Jordan liked a lot because the ducks would chase her everywhere. Haha, it was very entertaining:)

EASTER SUNDAY
EASTER SUNDAY
Easter Sunday was a lot of fun because Ashlyn could actually look for the eggs this year and help dye them. It was so fun and I loved putting the baskets together. She also got to wear her bunny ears which she hated so Jared and I ended up wearing them most of the time. Ashlyn and Marley both "opened" their baskets:) and of course Ashlyn downed as much candy as possible before we had my family over to dye the eggs and listen to General Conference. Ashlyn kept throwing the eggs in the cups though so they were cracking and then she would proceed to peel them so they ended up looking really nasty. Then we had Easter dinner with my family and talked about the Atonement. It was a really great Easter Sabbath.
So Jared took Ashlyn to the dump, which is like 20 minutes away from our house. From this picture, you can see that he forgot the diaper bag and had to improvise with his shirt when she pooped:) HAHA.

Marley"s first day to church. She and Ashlyn were both wearing their adorable Easter dresses from Mimi. Jared wanted to be Eastery too so he put Ashlyn's flowers in his hair:)
